City taxes are due and payable June 1 through July 31 without penalty. A 1.5% penalty accrues on August 1, and increases at an additional 1.5% on the first of each month thereafter until paid.

Notify the City Business Office of any change in mailing address. Property tax notices are mailed to the recorded owner as of January 1 of the current year. The property owner is responsible for tax payment regardless of failure to receive a tax notice.

When searching for a property taxes, please try different variations of your search term. This will ensure that you find the correct property. When having difficulty please try just searching the Street Name.

     Address Search Examples:
      "Emory Valley"
      "Emory Valley Road"
      "Emory Valley Rd"
      "123 Emory Valley Rd"

When using abbreviations for streets do not use punctuations, such as a period (.) Follow the examples listed above.

  When searching be receipt number, the year must be included as part of that search.
      Example: "20xx -- 0123"

  Name Search Examples:
      "Smith"
      "Smith John"
      "Smith John W"

The last name must come first when performing a full name search.
When using the name search feature do not use any punctuations, such as comma (,) or a period (.). Follow the examples listed above.
