Under the authority of City Code Section 2-60, the property listed on this site has been declared surplus property by the City of Oak Ridge and is to be sold to the highest bidder, subject to City acceptance. Property sold above a certain value is subject to City Council confirmation.
All property is offered for sale "where is" and "as is" and without recourse against the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee makes no guaranty or warranty, expressed or implied, as to the validity, quality or condition of any of the property, or its fitness for any use or purpose. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No claim will be considered for allowance or adjustment or for rescission of the sale based on failure of the property to conform with any expressed or implied representation. The City reserves the right to offer items with a reserve or minimum bid amount.
The user certifies that he/she is 18 years old or older.
Terms of payment: Upon acceptance of the bid, the total bid amount will be required in full prior to shipment of the item.
Form of payment: All payments must be made by certified check, cashier’s check or money order made payable to the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Shipment: Delivery of the item purchased is the responsibility of the successful bidder.
The City reserves the right to resale any item not paid for in full and removed from City property within twenty (20) days from the date of notification to the successful bidder.
