a “hands on” approach to learning about Email at Oak Ridge
Public Library. Classes will be held monthly on Thursdays from 10am
to noon in the Library. Participants will learn a short history of
email, basic email terminology and techniques, and obtain a free web
based email address. By working at one of the Library’s computers,
attendees will find out how to compose, send, and reply to email.
The
classes are scheduled on the 1st Thursday of each month.
Classes are limited to four people so individual interests and
questions are encouraged. A handout is given to participants for
home reference. Stop by the Reference Desk or call 425-3465 to
register for a class.
