We do not apprehend wild animals like skunks, possum, and raccoons. We will apprehend domesticated snakes.
SHELTER OPERATIONS

Animal registration (with proof of rabies vaccination and/or proof of neutering)

Placement of and disposal of unwanted animals

Quarantine of biter and suspected rabid animals

Rabies specimen transfer and analysis

Shelter educational tours

Release of animals. Collection of fees.

If you need to report a problem related to an animal, please call us during business hours , 10:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, at (865) 425-3423.
After hours and on weekends, please contact us at (865) 425-4399.
After hours, an animal control officer will respond to calls of:
Calls for the following problems will be handled during normal business hours. If these problems are reported at night, they will be handled the next business day.
