Kevin Rice contacted Officer Newman regarding Neighborhood Watch for his area in 2005. A meeting was held at Methodist Medical Center for his group and several others. Kevin had concerns about a house on Nesper Rd that had been known for drug traffic.
Although the residents of this area have not had very many meetings, they have worked together and eliminated several problems. The members have been diligent in reporting suspicious persons and it is unknown how many crimes they have prevented by doing so. The neighbors have taken ownership for their area and are willing to work to keep it a quiet and safe neighborhood.
