Before a building permit is issued, site plans are reviewed by City staff in order to achieve careful systematic review of future development, to ensure compliance with all applicable zoning ordinance requirements and other engineering related ordinances and standards to promote the general health, safety and welfare of the community.
A site review meeting is held each Monday at 2:00 p.m., in the City Manager's Conference Room in the Municipal Building. The deadline for submitting a project for the site review meeting is Monday at 5:00 for the following Monday meeting.
Site plans for projects in B-1, O-2, and UB-2 zones will also be required to have Planning Commission approval. Other site plans will be reviewed and approved only by City staff.
