The Economic Development Department is
responsible for the economic development activities of the City including
financial and staff support for organizations directly involved with economic
development, the provision of buildings and land to be used in promoting growth
and liaison work with various organizations engaged in development-related
activities in the Oak Ridge area.
Agencies contracted for economic development services include the Oak
Ridge Chamber of Commerce, Oak Ridge Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, Tennessee
Resource Valley and Melton Hill Regional Industrial Development Association.
Our Economic Development staff is responsible for working with and managing all the agencies contracted for economic development services including the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, Oak Ridge Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, Tennessee Resource Valley and Melton Hill Regional Industrial Development Association.
The Economic Development Department also
