What should I take to my Scrapbook Class?
Answer: A good pair of scissors, an adhesive of your choice and a journaling pen are standard in most classes. If an instructor requires additional tools or supplies they will be listed under the description of the class.
What should I take to the Crop?
Answer: Plan ahead. Focus in on a couple of projects that you would like to complete. Pack items that you might like to use on those projects only. Include paper, die-cuts, punches, journaling pen etc. Bring along some extra adhesive and maybe some scrap paper. Bring along pages or albums you would like to share with others. Trying to bring everything you own is burdensome and takes away from the fun of the crop.

- Prize drawing tickets
- Contest participation
- Participation in make and takes
*Note: Dinner is not included. However, you will have the option to order a boxed dinner for an addtional fee.*
Can I attend both Night Crops?
Answer: If you choose to attend the crop party both nights you may do so for $40. This will include only one goody bag per person. If you pay the full $25 fee for both nights you will receive 2 goody bags.
Do you take credit cards?
Answer: Unfortunately we are unable to take credit cards. We will accept cash or checks.
How can I win prizes?

We will draw tickets throughout the event. The winning tickets will be posted on a board in the crop area. You may also win prizes by entering the contests offered.
Are there any discounts?
Answer: There are several discount packages offered for the event. These are listed on the registration form. If you do not see a package containing the specific activities that you would like to participate in please contact us and we will try our best to accommodate you.
How can I be a vendor?
Answer: Vendors send in an application and pay a booth fee. Booth space is limited so vendors are selected on a first come basis. We do not allow two booths of the same business to participate.
How can I be a sponsor?

How can I be an instructor?
Answer: Instructors submit an application, available online, and are accepted on the basis of experience and class subject matter. All instructors sign a contract with the City of Oak Ridge and are paid a percentage of the money made on their specific class.
Do you have walk in registration?
Answer: Walk in registrants are welcome, however, space is limited in the crop area and classes. It is recommended that participants register ahead of time for these activities. All walk in participants are welcome to shop at the vendor fair.
Is there an age limit on this event?
Answer: Memory Magic is primarily an adult event where parents can take a break from routine responsibilities to enjoy scrapbooking. A crop is not an appropriate place for Infants and children. If a child is age 12 to 15, and enjoys scrapbooking as a hobby, he/she may attend the event as a paid participant but must be under the direct supervision of an adult. A youth 16 and older will be considered an adult participant.
Do I have to enroll in a class to attend the vendor fair?
Answer: No. The vendor fair is open to the public. Participation in classes and crops is not required for shopping but participation in make and takes is limited to paid participants.
If I am attending both night crops can I leave my equipment until the Saturday Night Crop?
Answer: Many participants leave their equipment overnight in the building. If a participant decides to leave their equipment overnight we would recommend that everything be packed up and not left strewn about on the tables. The building is locked and has a security alarm but there is a contract cleaning company in the building at night. Although things are usually safe and secure, there is no way for us to guarantee that.
How far in advance should I give a cancellation notice?
Answer: A cancellation notice should be given as soon as possible. There is a penalty for canceling after the deadline.
What do I do if I would like to change to another class?
Answer: Instructors prepare for classes based on the number of people pre-registered. Pulling out of a class after the cancellation deadline is not allowed. However, if the participant chooses to she may bring the ticket to the registration table where the staff will try to resell the ticket. If the ticket is resold, the participant will be refunded the full cost of the ticket.
