How can I contact a member of the Police Department?

Members of the Police Department are listed in the Department Directory. You will find both a phone number and an e-mail address here for Police Officers that work in Oak Ridge.  Keep in mind that officers work different shifts and it may be several days before an officer gets your message.  If the matter is urgent, contact the police dispatcher at 425-4399.

Where is the Oak Ridge Police Department located?

The Police Department is located at 200 S. Tulane Avenue in the City Administration Building.

 

What are the general business hours of the Police Department?

The Police Department is open for general administrative business 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (holidays excluded). Of course, law enforcement activities are ongoing 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

How do I get a copy of a police report?

The Police Records Section is also open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each business day.  There may be small fee for certain reports.
