BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

 

The Board of Zoning Appeals serves as a judicial board for the City of Oak Ridge. The Board of Zoning Appeals consists of five members who are appointed by City Council. Individuals may file an application with the Board of Zoning Appeals for administrative review; interpretation and enforcement of the zoning ordinance; requests for special exceptions; requests for variances; and requests for special permits.

The application fee for a BZA case is $100.00. The fee for a special called meeting is $300.00.

The Board of Zoning Appeals meets on the second Tuesday of each month, at 5:30 p.m., in the Municipal Building Courtroom.
