The Department consists of 87 employees and five divisions including Supervision/Administration, Engineering, Wastewater Treatment, Water Treatment, Equipment and Fleet Maintenance, and Work Pool. The activities and functions performed by the Department are included in the General Fund Waterworks Fund, State Street Aid Fund, Equipment Replacement Rental Fund and Solid Waste Fund. The Department serves as the City staff representative to the Traffic Safety Advisory Board, prepares and administers the Solid Waste Collection Contract, and administers the Community Development Block Grant Program.
