All About Traffic Signals
Traffic Signals are a part of everyone's life. In years past, a traffic signal was nothing more than a timer that controlled lights attached to a pole. Today, however, traffic signals are controlled by sophisticated computers that take into account all kinds of different variables in their operation. The purpose of these pages is to provide some basic information on how signals work in the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
